Focus of faculty research:

Educational policies and school leaders' responses to these; issues of intersectionality in the experiences of African American lesbian, gay, and bisexual students attending historically black colleges and universities and those who belong to black Greek-letter organizations; students' experiential knowledge and their evolving disciplinary-specific literacy and understanding; innovative program development; urban ESL teacher preparation; target-based instructional coaching
