Research

Focus of faculty research:	Plants in danger of extinction with medicinal activity, molecular genetics, somatic embryogenesis and micro-propagation of plants of agricultural interest, epigenetics and heavy metal homeostasis, metallothionein and myosin mRNA levels with tolerance of heavy metals in plants, unraveling the core and variable bacterial communities of evolutionarily distant marine macroalgae
