Focus of faculty research:	Studies on the variability in chromosomal DNA; development/enhancement of accessory methods useful for forensic DNA typing; forensic chemistry in the areas of controlled substances, explosives, and technology; research on explosives and IEDs (non-chemistry); therapeutic jurisprudence, issues involving inmates and their families, institutional stress suicide
