Focus of faculty research:	Protective packaging, modeling and mapping of the packaged products in supply chain; packaging design; shelf life extension of food and pharmaceutical products, interaction between packaging materials and packaged goods; design of bioplastic packaging materials for aerobic and anaerobic end of life scenarios; development and evaluation of active and intelligent packaging components
