Focus of faculty research:

Histories and theories of photography, contemporary art, American art and visual culture, and critical theory; photo books, visual narrative and expanded/experimental forms of documentary; contemporary fine art photography practice as personal document; public space, social practice, sensory observation, walking and mapping; relationship between the constructed image, photography as object, and fiction in contemporary practice
