Focus of faculty research: Language development of children with SLI, early childhood literacy, counseling in communication sciences and disorders, dysphagia in patients with COPD, lingual strength and swallowing, language and literacy for children who are deaf and hard of hearing, ultrasound visual biofeedback for speech sound production, English and Spanish vocabulary in English language learners, diversity and cultural competence, voice disorders in Parkinson's disease, interprofessional education and practice
