The A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is a leading, internationally recognized business school with more than 2,500 students in graduate programs spanning the globe. Founded on a need to train business professionals in New Orleans, the Freeman School was established at Tulane in 1914 and is a founding member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). For more than 100 years, there has been a tight connection between Tulane and the New Orleans business community. While retaining local connections, Tulane's business connections are now global.

MBA Programs

For applicants with work experience, Tulane offers the full-time MBA, the Professional MBA and the Executive MBA degree pursuits. Each of the three options is tailored to deliver an individualized and convenient enrollment format to pursue a Tulane MBA. In addition to multiple formats for study to meet with the lifestyle needs of any professional, the Freeman School strives to keep the curriculum fresh, innovative and relevant ensuring that the Tulane MBA delivers a high demand skill set.

The full-time MBA offers eight concentrations. Tulane remains a leader Finance and International Business. Recent curriculum innovations have added strength in the areas of Energy and Analytics. Many students opt to combine two concentrations for an added advantage in employment opportunities after graduation. Common combinations include Finance and Energy, Marketing and Analytics, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management & Leadership. In addition, with the Global Leadership Modules (each of which has an international trip), students may opt to earn an International Business or International Management concentration to combine with one of the other concentrations. With any number of concentrations, the Tulane MBA will provide you with relevant skills and experiential learning opportunities to put you on a path for success.

The Tulane Professional and Executive MBA are study options for experienced students who what to continue to work while pursuing their degree, and are offered in both New Orleans and Houston.

Specialized Masters Programs

The Tulane Master of Finance (MFIN) prepares students to be a highly skilled financial analyst on either the buy or sell side. Students can select one of two industry specializations, Energy or Banking and Financial Services. Since both of these specializations prepare students for highly complex industries and finance environments, graduates can be effective in almost any industry. In addition, the content of the MFIN prepares students for significant portions of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.

The Tulane Master of Accounting (MACCT) prepares students with an undergraduate business degree, or equivalent coursework, to launch into a career in accounting. Students work with faculty to design a personal, highly tailored program to allow them to meet the qualification requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of their choice. Tulane accounting graduates are in high demand and often enter careers with the big four firms.

The Tulane Master of Management in Energy (MME) prepares students to enter the fast growing and dynamic energy industry. The curriculum was developed by faculty who specialize in energy, and by industry professionals who work with our faculty. Graduates of the program are prepared to pursue career opportunities with energy companies, banks, trading organizations, utilities, ISOs, financial services and consulting firms, and regulatory agencies.
