Focus of faculty research:	Improving the quality, preservation and utilization of livestock feeds; reducing effects of stress on embryonic function, growth and lactation; optimizing muscle growth and composition and meat palatability and quality; improving lactation performance, health and fertility of beef and dairy cows; genetic and genomic analysis of production, reproduction, and health traits in livestock
