Focus of faculty research:

Evaluation of healthcare services and systems to enhance quality of care and patient safety outcomes; examination of chronic disease (e.g. cancer, HIV/AIDS) policies and practices to improve health outcomes and economic efficiency; impact of the uninsured, public insurance (such as Medicaid) and the safety net on access to care and the health of low-income, underserved, and foreign-born populations; the study of labor supply and healthcare coverage in response to health behaviors and shocks
