Research
Focus of faculty research: | Cross-cutting priorities for our research are urban and minority health disparities and biological mechanisms of health. Our faculty are currently working in the following areas: Self-management of chronic conditions: asthma, pain, hypertension, and diabetes; Health promotion: improving maternal/infant, adolescent, and young adult mental health; HIV prevention; smoking cessation; stress reduction; Palliative care: end of life conversations; dyspnea assessment/treatment at end of life. |
