The Chappie Hall Scholarship is for an applicant who maintained a 3.0 GPA or better during the past school year. Applicant's parents, grandparents, great grandparents, husband or wife is (or if deceased, was) a regular or life member (not an associate member) of the 101st Airborne Division Association. Applicants shall not be attending nor accepted as a student to the United States Military Academy, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, or the USCG Academy. Two letters of recommendation written within the past six months are required. One letter must be from a teacher. A typed letter in which the applicant will briefly discuss a few subjects in addition to others they consider relevant are also required.
