Description

The Achievement Scholarship for Students with a History of Chronic Illness provides a one-time award of $1,500 to graduating seniors or former graduates of Delaware high schools who have experienced a medically documented health-related issue lasting at least six months and significantly impacting their education. Preference is given to applicants affiliated with the First State School or its branches at the time of illness. Eligible candidates must demonstrate financial need through a FAFSA report and submit an essay detailing their experience with chronic illness and how they have worked to overcome it. Past recipients may reapply.
