The AIERF College Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence to help finance the educational endeavors of students concentrating, or with demonstrated interest, in real estate appraisal and/or valuation. Applicants must be a student majoring in real estate appraisal, land economics, real estate or allied fields and with a demonstrated interest in real estate appraisal and/or valuation at a U.S. degree granting college or university. Applicants must have a strong academic record. The scholarship award must be used in the same academic year it is awarded. Preference will be given to applicants with an appraisal internship. Two letters of recommendation attesting to applicant's work ethic, character and pursuit of career in real estate appraisal, land economics, real estate or allied fields are required.
