Airport Minority Advisory Council Foundation Scholarship

Description

The AMAC Foundation Scholarship Program provides scholarships annually to students who are eligible and meet the requirements as identified by the AMAC Foundation. The applicant must demonstrate an interest and desire to pursue a career in the aviation/airport industry and seeking a degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, Communications, Finance, Civil, Chemical, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Environmental Science. Involvement in community activities and extracurricular activities. A commitment to involvement in furthering the mission of the Airport Minority Advisory Council by participating as an AMAC Student Member. Recipients are required to continually maintain all the eligibility requirements as outlined above the awarded term and provide supporting documentation, become a student member of AMAC - annual membership fee is $25. Communicate with AMAC during the school year in which the scholarship is awarded. All recipients must maintain an active school email address throughout the year to ensure all communications from AMAC and AMAC Foundation are received in a timely manner. Submit a quarter/semester progress report and copy of grades to show proof of maintaining required GPA. Students must reapply each year. If you are a high school student, you must also provide letter of acceptance from an accredited college or university. Two letters of recommendation. Two paragraph biography summarizing employment, volunteer work, awards and academic accomplishments. One 400x600 pixels digital color photograph (.jpg or .png format) suitable for publication.
