Albert J. Harris Award

Description

The Albert J. Harris Award honors a published, peer-reviewed journal article or monograph that makes an outstanding contribution to our understanding of prevention or assessment of reading or learning disabilities. This award is given once every three years. Journal articles and monographs must have been published between January 2022 and December 2024 to be eligible for consideration. Articles and monographs will be evaluated on the significance of the issue under investigation; suitability of methodology used to investigate the topic or problem; presentation and analysis of data; and appropriateness of conclusions/interpretations. To be eligible, the lead author must be an ILA member in good standing and maintain active membership through June 30, 2026. Eligible articles and monographs should be submitted as a clear, high-quality, and complete copy of the published paper with full bibliographic information identifying the author(s), source, and publication date. Articles may be submitted by the author or the author's colleagues. Please visit the award's website for more information.
