Description

Each year The Department of North Carolina joins the 54 other departments and the over 10,000 local posts in The American Legion High School Oratorical Contest. Each District will conduct an Oratorical Contest for high school students in grades 9-12, including those homeschooled in your school districts. Speech must be student's original work on the general subject of the Constitution. Speech contests begin in December at local Legion post level and continue on to the national competition.
