The AMWPA Syed Sultan Ahmed Physics Professor Memorial Merit Award will be awarded to students whose parents are not physicians (exceptions will be made if parents never practiced as physicians). Applicants must be current or pre-medical or dental students at an accredited university or graduate school. The minimum cumulative GPA 3.50 is only required for pre-medical and pre-dental students.
