The MassCPAs Amy A. Pitter Presidential Scholarship is recognizing the legacy of President and CEO Amy Pitter. This scholarship was established to encourage individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and financial need to pursue a career in the accounting profession in Massachusetts. Applicants must be a graduate student, or undergraduate accounting student who has completed at least the first semester of their sophomore year. They must be willing to complete four hours of accounting-related community service; and have the intention to seek a career as a CPA in Massachusetts. Applicants may be attending a college or university in Massachusetts or attending a college or university out-of-state with a permanent address in Massachusetts. They must submit a recommendation from an accounting professor or high school teacher, academic advisor or job supervisor. Applicants must also submit an essay or a 2-3 minute video in which they describe what has shaped their decision to pursue a career in accounting.
