The Anderson Scholarship for Neuroscience is open to students who are interested in the field of neuroscience. Students must be majoring within the College of Health and Human Sciences. Preference is given to students residing in the rural Appalachian region including the following counties: Franklin, Habersham, Rabun, Stephens, Towns counties in GA; Blount, Cocke, Monroe, Polk, Sevier counties in TN; Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, Mitchell, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, Watauga, Yancey counties in NC.
