The APS Translational Research Award recognizes trainees at both the pre-doctoral and postdoctoral educational levels whose area of experimental research is translatable to industry applications, such as: Treatment development or improvement; Diagnosis; Mechanism of action; or Health and wellness. These awards are presented at the American Physiology Summit, which the awardee must attend. APS membership is not required for applicants. Applicants must be a U.S. graduate student or equivalent holding a bachelor's degree. They must be enrolled in subsequent training. Applicants must have completed a program leading to a doctorate degree. They must have a sponsor who is a regular APS member.
