Arlene Birdsell Martin Teaching Scholarship

Description

The Arlene Birdsell Martin Teaching Scholarship was established at the Community Foundation of NCW in 1999. Mrs. Martin taught high school in Pullman before moving to Wenatchee where she was the head of the English Department at Wenatchee Valley College. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from Wenatchee Valley College with special emphasis on students pursuing a teaching certificate, enrolled in a 4-yr college with preference given to English majors.
