Description

The Avie Teltschik Memorial Band Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Avie Teltschik, a popular award winning band director at Tivy High School for 24 years. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide educational funds to graduating Tivy High School band students. Applicants must have been active in the Tivy High School band and should have demonstrated leadership in band, e.g., active in solo and ensemble contest and district band. Selection of recipients is based on excellence in band participation, financial need, and academic achievement.
