Baker Student Fellowship

Description

The Baker Student Fellowship will be awarded to students with an interest in a career in the construction industry and studying in a civil engineering, structural engineering, or construction industry management program. Internship is required and usually served at Baker Concrete Construction or on a Baker project site. Applicants must be a student enrolled in a concrete-related degree during the award cycle, which is the fall through spring semester of the standard academic year. Fellowship applicants must attend an accredited institute or university in the United States or Canada during the award cycle to be considered for an award. They must also be proficient in the English language. If English is not the applicant's native language, they can upload a copy of their TOEFL score to their application. This is optional and not required. Applicants must also submit two endorsements that show their suitability to receive an award. One endorsement must be from an ACI member. Endorsers cannot be students or family members. Finalists must then attend the spring ACI Concrete Convention for their in-person interview.
