NTSA manages the annual Barbara McDaniel Undergraduate Scholarship program, implemented in 2019. NTSA understands the importance of students pursuing Modeling & Simulation degrees and how vital it is to the modeling, simulation, and training (MS&T) industry. These scholarship awards will keep the MS&T workforce pipeline filled, starting at the undergraduate level. Applicants must be a documented U.S. citizen. They must be enrolled or accepted at an accredited U.S. institution with a focus in any of the following areas: Engineering (Modeling, Simulation, and/or Training Related; Systems Engineering); Operations Research, Systems Analysis, or Mathematics; Distance Learning Methodologies; Human Factors (Psychology or Engineering); Instructional Design and Training Methodology; or Computer Science and/or Information Sciences. Applicants must submit recommendations from their major advisor and one professor from the aforementioned focus areas.
