Description

The Barbara Shay Memorial Nursing Scholarship will be awarded to students from Kofa High School, Yuma or Cibola High School, Yuma. They must attend college or university at Arizona Western College or NAU-Yuma Campus. The scholarship requires that at least one recommendation be submitted on behalf of interested applicants. This reference should come from an individual who will write a strong letter of recommendation on the applicant's behalf. Ideally, this would be a mentor in the nursing field, as this scholarship is for students intent on careers as Registered Nurses. Applicants must also complete the additional essay.
