The Ben and Vicky Cayetano Scholarship Fund in Memory of Brandon F. Cayetano provides opportunities in higher education to exceptional Hawai'i students, especially those who have demonstrated perseverance and determination in the face of difficult financial and social obstacles. HCF requires applicants to be a resident of the State of Hawaii, demonstrate financial need, and be in satisfactory academic standing or progress. A minimum of one award will be given to a graduate of Damien Memorial School. The remaining awards can be awarded to graduates of any public or private Hawaii high school. Preference will be given to the students with the greatest financial need. Preference is also for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.
