The Bertold E. Weinberg Scholarship was established to honor Mr. Weinberg for his long-time service in managing the Scholarship Program as Chair of the Scholarship Council. ACI continues to fund this scholarship annually. This award is available to students in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, pursuing studies in the field of concrete. Applicants must be a student enrolled in a concrete-related degree during the award cycle, which is the fall through spring semester of the standard academic year. They must also be proficient in the English language. If English is not the applicant's native language, they can upload a copy of their TOEFL score to their application. This is optional and not required. Applicants must also submit two endorsements that show their suitability to receive an award. One endorsement must be from an ACI member. Endorsers cannot be students or family members. Finalists must then attend the spring ACI Concrete Convention for their in-person interview.
