The BMW Hope Endowment was established by Flora Burns March 10, 2008. The first scholarship was given in 2009. It was established in memory of Bill Burns. Funds from the sale of his BMW motorcycle were used to establish this endowment. Applicants must be students diagnosed with epilepsy. Epilepsy was included in the criteria because Bill's son, Paul has epilepsy. Minimum GPA of 3.00 to maximum GPA of 4.00 are required. Applicants must submit a reference letter from their attending physician stating that they have epilepsy.
