In October 1995, Julie Rawson, a Brewster High School teacher, received the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award. The following year, she established the Brewster High School Rawson Scholarship. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from Brewster High School, with special emphasis on students who demonstrate a strong moral character, integrity, and financial need. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need and potential scholastic ability.
