The Buckfire Law Scholarship Committee is currently accepting applications for the 2026 Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Medical School Diversity Scholarship. The scholarship, established in 2014, is part of the law firm's initiative to recognize medical school students who do outstanding work to promote diversity of all kinds in their community. The funds are to be used toward their continued education in medical school. The scholarship is available to all medical school students in the United States who work hard to promote diversity in their communities. Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. does not limit "diversity" to any one experience, characteristic, or circumstance. Diversity includes all the various ways that make individuals unique. The firm recognizes that students of all backgrounds can be committed to diversity. When assessing applications and selecting winners, Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. does not give preferences to students based on race, sex, ethnicity, or any other immutable characteristic. Applicants must be an individual who demonstrates a defined commitment to issues of diversity of all kinds within their community. They must be currently attending an accredited medical school within the United States and have completed at least one semester of classes at an accredited medical school.
