The Burke Scholarship is a four-year program for first-year undergraduate students who have a passion for social justice and a commitment to serve others. This full-tuition scholarship is awarded annually to academically talented Wisconsin high school seniors who exhibit leadership, have demonstrated exceptional commitment to community, and aspire to pursue careers that benefit the public good. Entering first-year students following a service gap year are also eligible. Scholarship recipients may also receive a stipend for living expenses based on their financial need. Most finalists have a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.6 or above. Applicants applying under the test optional policy are eligible to apply and will be given equal consideration.
