Description

The Byers Family Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors from Rusk High School in Cherokee County, Texas who will attend any accredited college or university in the United States and will major in any field of study. Applicants must demonstrate excellent moral character and leadership. A preference will be given to applicants who desire to live and work in East Texas upon graduation. Applicants must submit two letters of reference. One must be from a teacher that can speak to the applicant's character or behavior in the classroom.
