Description

The Carol W. Wood Academic Achievement Award Endowed Fund was established by Carol W. Wood and Dr. Freddie W. Wood. Dr. Freddie W. Wood loves the dedication of the University of North Alabama to its students and the community. Therefore, it is his wish to honor his wife with an endowment in the English/Language Arts at UNA. Selections for the scholarship will be based solely upon academic achievement without regard to financial need. Entering freshmen may be considered based on high school performance and scores on standardized tests. Existing students must demonstrate a 3.0 or better GPA.
