The Transfer Excellence Award recognizes outstanding transfer students who wish to earn their bachelor degree from the Catawba Online program. The award is designed to provide financial assistance to students who have demonstrated excellence in prior college-level studies and who can indicate strong potential in their future career. The criteria for the award is primarily academic performance in your prior community college studies. This scholarship is available for incoming transfer students only who have earned an Associate's degree from CPCC, RCCC, DDCC, or Stanly CC or are approaching graduation at one of these institutions. Current students are not eligible for the transfer scholarship. The priority application deadline is June 1st for fall semesters and November 1st for spring semesters; later applications are subject to availability of funds.
