Description

The Chao Family Foundation believes every person has a right to reach their full potential. They aim to lift the road blocks and give them a fighting chance to work towards improving the lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. The Chao Family Foundation is pleased to award scholarships to high school seniors attending any UC or CSU school in Fall 2026. If selected, $4,000 will be awarded each year for up to four years with a minimum GPA requirement. Applicants must have a household income at or below the county low income level. If selected, they must provide 2024 or 2025 tax return for verification. The scholarship is open to all majors and there is no ethnicity requirement.
