Charles L. Shor Foundation Epilepsy Scholarship

Description

The Charles L. Shor Scholarship Fund has established a scholarship program for students currently being treated for active epilepsy seizures who plan to continue their education in college. Applicants must be a legal resident of the United States (U.S.). They must have physician-documented, active epilepsy seizures within the previous 12 months as of the application deadline, not be a candidate for surgery, and be currently on medication to treat epilepsy. Applicants must also be a high school senior, high school graduate (including GED), or current college undergraduate. They must have not previously earned a bachelor's degree, unless the applicant is seeking to enroll in a trade or vocational school program. Employees, their family members, officers, and directors of the Charles L. Shor Scholarship Fund, Epilepsy Wellness Advocates, or the Charles L. Shor Scholarship Fund are ineligible to apply.
