Description

The Charles W. & Annette Hill Scholarship will be awarded to assist financially, in the education of needy and worthy children of American Legion Members of the Department of Kansas. Consideration should be given to those applicants desiring to engage in the Fields of Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. The applicant must be a Descendent of a member of the American Legion. Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a teacher. The latest 1040 income statement of the applicant's supporting parent(s) is required. Veteran's papers must also be submitted and must show date of entry and release from active duty. DD 214's are acceptable. The applicant's major field of study will be a factor in the final selection.
