Description

The Colachis Family Scholarship is for those who are or have been in foster care. They may be undergraduate or adult re-entry students planning to enroll at an accredited four-year university, community college or licensed career/technical school in California in fall. Applicants must be engaged in their community through their involvement in extra-curricular, church, volunteer activities or work experience. A document on official letterhead from a social worker indicating that the applicant is currently or have previously been in foster care is required.

Eligibility Requirements

  • CheckmarkMust attend a university, a four-year college, two-year college or a vocational-tech school
  • CheckmarkMust not be attending high school currently
  • CheckmarkMust study full-time
  • CheckmarkRestricted to residents of California
  • CheckmarkRestricted to students studying in California
