D. Fred and Marian L. Bovie Scholarship

Description

Multiple scholarships are available for students pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in welding or a related discipline, including the D. Fred and Marian L. Bovie Scholarship. Each individual scholarship has its own criteria. The Scholarship Application System will utilize the student's Academic Profile to assess their eligibility for all available scholarships. Some scholarships require demonstrated financial need, which means the cost of attendance exceeds the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as found on the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR). The SAR must be submitted in addition to cost of attendance documentation to be eligible. Some scholarships require or have a preference for applicants to be a member of AWS. Applicants are required to submit two references. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the American Welding Society Foundation for more information.
