Description

The David & Adele Heffner Lombardi Scholarship will be awarded to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students entering their first year of veterinary school. Awards shall be made by the CVM Scholarship Committee in accordance with the established procedures, with criteria as follows: (1) Longtime NC residents from rural and/or economically depressed counties (preference to Mecklenburg, Wake, or Durham counties); (2) Graduate of one of the 17 schools in the UNC system; (3) Preference to students who volunteer or help in the community; (4) Available to students in all areas of veterinary interest.
