The DaVita Inc. Nephrology Nurse Educator Award aims to recognize outstanding contributions to professional and/or patient education. Candidates for the award will be nominated. Nominees must be a current full member of ANNA, and have been a member for a minimum of the last 2 years as of the awards application deadline. Nominees must be actively involved in nephrology nursing related health care services; be an active participant in ANNA at the local and/or national level; have outstanding contribution in nephrology education for professionals or patients; and show evidence of sharing educational expertise in nephrology either through presentations at ANNA meetings or publication in nephrology-related journals.
