Description

The Deblinger Family Scholarship is for single mothers who are returning to college to improve their own lives as well as their families' lives. The Deblinger Family Foundation wants to enable non-traditional students to focus on achieving their academic goals and performance, so that they can create a successful future. Those who are currently enrolled in a community college to obtain an associate's degree, certificate or in a four-year college transfer program are eligible. Students who already have an AA degree and are planning to transfer to a four-year college, are also eligible. Preference will be given to residents of Oakland, San Francisco, East Palo Alto, San Jose and Watsonville.
