Stanley Black and Decker has established the DEWALT Trades Scholarship to assist individuals attending a two-year college or vocational-technical school who are pursuing a trade degree or certificate in an industry aligned with the Stanley Black and Decker Trade Goals, including but are not limited to Construction, Industrial, Motor or Power Sector, Mechanics, and Technology. Applicants may be high school seniors or graduates, or current post-secondary undergraduate students. Employees of and dependent children of Stanley Black and Decker employees and its affiliates are ineligible. ast recipients may not reapply. Only the first 1000 applications submitted will be considered for scholarship evaluation. Provided there are qualified applicants, preference will be given to those that self-identify as American Indian or Alaska Native, Indigenous Peoples, First Nations, Inuit and Metis, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, and/or be an individual with a disability, and/or self-identify as 2SLGBTQIA+.
