The Dick and Chris Draper Scholarship was established by the Draper family to benefit young people in Elgin, Nebraska. Applicants must be a current graduating senior of Elgin Public High School or Elgin Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School, having completed all four years of high school at one or both schools. While financial need is not part of the selection criteria, this scholarship will not be awarded to any student who receives another scholarship which sufficiently finances all tuition, fees, and books. Applicants must submit three references' e-mail addresses. References must be teachers, counselors, case workers, clergy, employers, neighbors, etc. References from family members are not acceptable.
