The Don Brockett Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarship benefits to students of the performing and theatrical arts at eligible universities. Applicants may be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current undergraduate enrolled or planning to enroll at eligible universities in Pennsylvania. Applicants must have a GPA between 2.5 and 3.5. Preference will be given to applicants who have a special talent or interest in the performing and theatrical arts. Applicants must also be a good student but not in the top 10 percent academically. They must be involved in extracurricular and/or other activities outside of school which reflect an ordinary (typical) student who shows extraordinary self-discipline and motivation to goals larger than self.
