The Dr. Douglas Tubman Memorial Football Scholarship aims to support GVSU Football student-athletes not currently receiving athletically-related financial aid or scholarships (walk-on), or other football athletes during summer to support their tuition and room and board. Applicants must be accepted for or currently attending GVSU. They must be a member of the GVSU Laker Football Team and must be enrolled in any course of study. Applicants must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress. Preference will be given to student-athletes not currently receiving athletically-related financial aid or scholarships (walk-on), or other football athletes taking summer courses. Financial need may be considered and can be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
