Description

From an early age, Steve Kerr aspired to become a doctor. His family had limited financial resources. Fortunately, he was granted a scholarship allowing him to attend the University of Arizona. After completing medical school and extra training, Steve devoted his entire life to the practice of medicine, his number one passion. The Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship supports a nontraditional student who is enrolled in the Allied Health Program at Wenatchee Valley College. The committee seeks to award an older student who for some reason was unable to pursue or complete their higher education and who is studying the field of medicine or in a medically related career.
