The Drs. Sarfaraz and Raafat Family of Awards will be awarded annually to one allied health/healthcare paraprofessional student. The qualifying health paraprofessional programs of study include: Anesthesia Technologist/Technician; Medical/Clinical Laboratory Worker/Technician; Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technician; Medical Assistant (MA); Medical Laboratory Scientist; Operating Room Technicians; Radiologic Technician/Technologist; Surgical Assistant; and Surgical Technologist/Technician. IMANA is looking for passionate young leaders with a demonstrated commitment to any variety of causes serving humanity. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students. Applicants must be attending a U.S. accredited institution.
