The Drs. Sarfaraz and Raafat Family of Awards will be awarded annually, in July, to one allied health/healthcare paraprofessional student. The qualifying health paraprofessional programs of study include: Anesthesia Technologist/Technician; Medical/Clinical Laboratory Worker/Technician; Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technician; Medical Assistant (MA); Medical Laboratory Scientist; Operating Room Technicians; Radiologic Technician/Technologist; Surgical Assistant; or Surgical Technologist/Technician. IMANA is looking for passionate young leaders with a demonstrated commitment to any variety of causes serving humanity. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Applicants must be attending a U.S. accredited institution. This is a one-year scholarship.
