DunkinÔÇÖ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program

Description

DunkinÔÇÖ and its franchisees are committed to a strong local community. The DunkinÔÇÖ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program has been established to recognize the importance of education and provide support to residents of the community and our extended corporate family. This program will award up to 25 $2,000 scholarships to qualified students throughout the region. The program is administered by Scholarship America?«, the nationÔÇÖs largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship AmericaÔÇÖs evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin. Applicants to the DunkinÔÇÖ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program award must: Be high school seniors who are residents of one of the counties listed* or current undergraduate students attending school in one of the counties listed*, who plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year. Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) or higher. DunkinÔÇÖ full-time or part-time employees who meet the eligibility criteria are also encouraged to apply. Franchise owners and dependents are not eligible. Previous DunkinÔÇÖ Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program recipients are not eligible. *Eligible Counties are as follows: Delaware counties: Kent and New Castle. New Jersey counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, or Salem. Pennsylvania counties: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, or Philadelphia. Awards are for one year only and are not renewable. Awards are one-time only, student may not receive award more than once. Awards are for undergraduate study only. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of: Academic record, Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities & honors, Work experience, Statement of goals and aspirations, Unusual personal or family circumstances, An online recommendation. A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
