The Edgewood College Washburn Scholarship is for students with an average cumulative GPA of 3.0 to 3.49. The Washburn Scholarship is named for Cadwallader C. Washburn, a successful businessman and Civil War Veteran, who served as Wisconsin's governor from 1872-1874. He enjoyed spending time on his lakeside property, Edgewood Villa.
